According to the report of the Health Department, out of the 1526 samples tested today, only 17 reported positive. The total number of cases of corona infected in Meerut has been 1737, in which 1268 people have been sent home after treatment, while 387 patients are currently being treated in covid hospitals.
62 and 50-year-old men died of corona in Meerut today, while a 57-year-old woman succumbed to a corona infection. So far 82 people have lost their lives due to corona in Meerut.
Today only 811 samples were sent for testing by the Health Department, while the test report of 806 samples is awaited. Till date, 69440 samples have been tested in Meerut, of which 66897 reports have come negative.
